  22. INSTALLATION:

  24. To install Car Care Volume 1 use File Manager to run the setup.exe
  25. program in the root directory on the CD-ROM.  Follow the on screen
  26. instruction.  This will install a group with icons, and install
  27. Video for Windows 1.1d on your system.

  29. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
  30.  
  31. To use Car Care Volume 1, you should have a 386DX or better CPU with
  32. 8-bit (256 color), 16-bit (64,000 color), or 24-bit (Truecolor) VLB graphics, 
  33. 2X CD drive, a sound card (optional), Microsoft Windows 3.1 and DOS 5.0
  34. or 6.2, and a mouse.  
  35.  
  36. For best results set your video card to thousands of colors.
  37. If you experience color display problems, Please contact your video board
  38. manufacturer to see if newer driver software is available.
  39.  
  40. CAR CARE VIEWER (mainmenu):
  41.  
  42. How to use the Car Care Viewer: This viewer is intended to be an easy way to
  43. view video on this CD-ROM. After the intro and title screen
  44. Main Menu will have misc pictures, some areas are hot boxed to see certain 
  45. portions of the video. In middle left of screen you will see text box that
  46. will tell you what part of the video it is. Always pause movie before
  47. choosing another movie.

  49. PLAY BUTTON:
  50. Click to Play.

  52. PAUSE BUTTON:
  53. Click to Pause.
  54.  
  55. PLAY FROM START:
  56. Click to Start from Begining.
  57.  
  58. LARGE SCREEN MODE:
  59. Double Click to select which movie # to play in Large Screen Mode.
  60. Click again to return to normal mode and click play to resume.

  62. PRODUCTS BUTTON:
  63. Click this button to view screen about other products available.
  64. Click on product icons to view more info about that product.

  66. VIEW TEXT:
  67. Text is viewed in the upper left side button called Read to Me will
  68. be viewed from the upper right side and may be copied by dragging cursor
  69. selecting text then pushing CTRL & INSERT at the same time, open notepad and
  70. push SHIFT & INSERT to import that text and save for later use.

  73. Click this button to select what mode you are in (Audio Only & Text).

  75. VIDEO:
  76. Click this button to select what mode you are in (Video, Audio & Text).

  78. TEACH ME:
  79. Click this button to have all the video, audio and text files played to
  80. you.
  81. Click auto play off to stop.
  82. Click again to start over.

  85. Click this button to have all the audio and text files played to
  86. you.
